"Early one spring morning, a little seed woke up after her long winter sleep. She yawned and stretched. With a loud CRACK her hard brown jacket fell away. 'Oh!' said the surprised seed. The earth above felt warm."

... this was just the beginning of big changes to come.

A little Sun Seed follows the cycle of spring into summer through to Autumn and into winter, as she grows from seedling to golden flower. The soft colourful illustrations depicted throughout this beautiful book were created with naturally-dyed wool fibers, dry felted to create a textured image with great depth and detail. A charming and simple story for the young child.
