Organic inside and out, this soft, warm doll makes a wonderful companion. Doll play is of great importance in childhood – dolls allow the child to act out many worries, fears and confusions. Dolls can also become great friends, for the child to confide in. Dolls offer the child a chance to practice their own nurturing skills, preparing them for future parenting roles.

Waldorf dolls such as Alma are filled with natural sheep’s wool – the body heat of the child quickly warms the doll, making the doll warm to hold and cuddle. Handmade in Germany from soft organic jersey and filled with pure organic wool. Hair is made from natural mohair, and can be gently combed and tied with a soft ribbon. Each Nanchen doll face is hand painted with great care using several different colours, making each individual doll unique.

Alma comes with a pure cotton fleecy jacket, polka dot cotton dress with mesh trim, cute floral pants, and ribbed jersey hat. All clothing can be removed. (Doll & clothing – hand wash)
