Bumbu Toys are a small family run business in Romania who strive to preserve a way of life centered on slow living, treating others with respect and creating a space where local craftsmanship can flourish.

The animal figurines are designed, cut and painted by hand in Romania using different varieties of local hardwood.  Each piece is unique with a lot of love, passion and time in everything they make.  Using high quality products, after sanding and hand painting – organic oils are used to prevent sweat and saliva from damaging the wood.

Consulting in the design process with a psychologist specializing in early child development, they aim to ensure our high quality toys are as inclusive as possible along with encouraging the child’s imagination.

All Bumbu toys are made with pure wood and use non-toxic finishes and eco friendly using 100% recyclable materials.
